On December 1, a police constable, Zarmast Khan, was killed when unknown assailants opened fire on him at Chontra bridge in the limits of Tangi police station in Charsadda District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reports Dawn. The attackers riding on a motorcycle opened fire on the police constable while he was coming home in Tangi after performing his duty at the exise and taxation office.
