A Policeman and a child was killed, while 24 others including 20 Policemen were injured in a suicide blast targeting a Police truck in Baleli area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, in the morning of November 30 (Today), reports Geo TV. According to Quetta Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Ghulam Azfar Mahesar, “the explosion took place near the police truck […] due to the impact, the vehicle — which was carrying policemen — toppled and fell into a ditch”. He said that a total of three vehicles fell victim to the blast — the Police truck, a Mehran and a Corolla. The number of fatalities may increase as this a developing news.
