On 2 December 2022, Turkish army forces carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Gelale (Kalalah) village in Mawat sub-district of Al Sulaymaniyah, targeting the civilians who were in the area for hunting. One civilian was killed and 5 others were injured in the attack.
