Two shells were discovered in the morning of Tuesday, August 2, on the beaches of Veulettes-sur-Mer, near the casino, and of Saint-Valery-en-Caux. In the latter locality, the presence of a small-caliber explosive device was reported by a summer resident near the first aid station.
