On Friday, July 29, around 4:00 p.m., police officers intervened at the Sud de France airport, where a shell had just been found in the suitcase of an English national who was about to fly to Great Britain. For security reasons, the deminers of Montpellier were called in, while the airport was evacuated without panic. According to our information, the explosive ordnance specialists were quickly able to determine that the shell with its warhead was neutral, with photos of the device presented to them from a distance. By 5 pm, the situation at the airport was back to normal.
