Two girls were killed in Thion in the province of Gnagna, in eastern Burkina Faso, in improvised explosive device explosions that also seriously injured three other people, the Burkina Information Agency (AIB, official) reported Thursday. The victims, aged between 8 and 14, were on board a cart looking for water when it was blown up by an improvised explosive device, AIB said.
