A convoy of civilians under military escort was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Bourzanga, Bam, Centre-North region, on Friday 01 July 2022. Information from local and security sources reaching Infowakat.net indicate that the convoy had left Djibo to go to Ouagadougou. One of the tricycles in the civilian convoy hit an improvised explosive device. The provisional toll is at least 4 civilians killed and one injured.
