On 05 April 2020, a car bomb planted by an unknown armed group exploded in Mabrouka town in rural Ras Al Ain in Al-Hasakeh countryside, targeting a checkpoint belongs to Turkey backed Ahrar al Sharqiyah whom are operating under OPS, wounding five of them. No fatalities were reported.
