On 17 March 2020, Nigerian Air Force conducted air strikes at camps of Ansaru and bandits in Walawa, Yadi and Kuduru Hills (Giwa LGA, Kaduna). At least 5 Ansaru fighters and 12 gunmen were killed. Fatalities split between two events.
