On 20 February, cadres of Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) exploded an IED causing partial damage to a coke factory at Kyllon Mathei Pyndeng Jalong near Riangdo area (West Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya). No injury was reported in the incident.
