Security Forces (SFs) have foiled a major Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) attack and recovered cache of arms and ammunition during a joint operation by the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) and the District Police, in Katriba Dobha village and the adjoining hill areas under Bandh Block (administrative sub division) in Aurangabad District of Bihar on November 10, reports newindian.in. Superintendent of Police (SP), Kantesh Kumar Mishra said following a tip off that preparation for a major attack was being made on the SFs in Katriba Dobha village and the adjoining hill areas, a joint search operation was launched against the Maoists in these areas and during the operation a huge amount of arms cache including, two nine MM pistols, two knives, two pistols, three magazines of INSAS (Indian Small Arms System) assault rifle and 120 rounds of 5.56 MM INSAS assault rifle were recovered from the area
