On 9 November 2022, in Kyauk Se Lay village (Madaya township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military based in Kin Ywar village fired artillery rounds into the village at around 11 am. Two houses were damaged and a cow was killed by artillery shells. There were no casualties.
