On 9 November 2022, in Hpa Laung Pyin village (Minbya township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), artillery shells fired by the Minbya-based Myanmar military battalions and the military vessel at around 9 am and 12 pm landed in the village and damaged six houses. Casualties unknown.
