On 7 November 2022, an Azerbaijani soldier of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was hit by a landmine at one of the areas that was taken over by the Azerbaijani forces after the 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war (coded to Karvachar, Shahumyan region) as a result of which the serviceman was wounded.
