Panzerfaust found in Gdynia A German WW2 anti-tank mortar weapon, Panzerfaust, was found in Gdynia, northern Poland. The discovery was made during construction works. The find was made in Gdynia during construction works in one of the plots. Police was informed about the unexploded ordnance and a military sapper patrol was sent to the site. The find was identified as a German Panzerfaust weapon dating back to World War 2. The weapon consists of a small, disposable pre-loaded launch tube and a a high-explosive anti-tank warhead. The find was removed by the 43rd Sapper Battalion from Rozewie and successfully disposed at Polish Navy’s military grounds.
