On 16 April 2020, 2 women and 1 child were killed, and 2 woman and 1 child were wounded, when a mortar shell hit Ibrahim Khel area outside of Gardez city, Paktia. It's unclear who fired it; Taliban accused Afghan forces while local media reported it was the Taliban. Fatalities coded as 3 (VoJ also reported 3 fatalities).
