On 2 November 2022, in Maungdaw town (Maungdaw township, Maungdaw district, Rakhine state), an explosion occurred at the No (5) Border Guard Police at about 10 am. Myanmar Now reported that ten policemen were seriously injured. DVB reported that six policemen were injured.
