On 2 November 2022, near Kywe Htar Pyin village (Maungdaw township, Maungdaw district, Rakhine state), the Arakan Army (AA) attacked a convoy of seven military vehicles transporting food supplies from No (5) Border Guard Police to the Hla Phoe Khaung re-acceptance camp with three mines at about 8 am. Khit Thit Media reported that three military soldiers were killed.
