On 2 November 2022, in Magway town (Magway township, Magway district, Magway region), two bomb explosions occurred at two military gates at around 9:20 pm. One military gate is located at the intersection of Taungdwin road and Ah Wai Yar road and another is in front of the No 4 Basic Education High School There was an unspecified number of casualties.
