On 1 November 2022, near Kan Pyar village of Salin township (Minbu District, Magway Region), joint forces of People's Defense Force - Western Region (Unit-3), Pwintbyu Guerrilla Force (PP UG), and People's Defense Force - Salin (Unit-4) carried out an attack using two heavy mines against the military troops and police forces at a security checkpoint located in the north of the village. Two military soldiers were killed and nine others were injured.
