On 31 October 2022, in Pi Si (Rakhine) village of Kyauktaw township (Mrauk-U District, Rakhine State), heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops landed on a residential house and killed three family members, a 13-year-old girl and 45 and 44-years-old parents. The shelling also killed two cows.
