On 31 October 2022, between Hmaw Taw and Kan Yoe villages of Kanbalu township (Kanbalu District, Sagaing Region), the People's Defense Force - Shwebo District Battalion-16 and Taze Revolution Force (TRF) carried out a mine attack against a vehicle that carried six Pyu Saw Htee members at around 9:15 am. The attack damaged the vehicle and injured two members of Pyu Saw Htee.
