During search operation conducted against the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), Security Forces (SFs) have recovered a large number of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) arms and ammunition from near Jokpani village located in Budha Pahar in Garhwa District of Jharkhand on November 6, reports jagran.com. Material seized by SFs include Cylinder IED Bomb 10 kilograms 17 Pcs, Cylinder 74 Pcs, Fire Extinguisher Approx 7 kilograms, Tiffin IED 3 19 Pcs, Triangle IED 06 Pcs, Check Valve Three 05 kilograms 09 Pcs, Pressure IED 12 Pcs, Safety Fuse Approx 200metres, Electronic Detonator 68 Grind, Non Detonator Piece, Cordex Wire 300metres, Wire 400metres, Hand Operating Drill Machine One Piece, Red Flag Two Piece, Multimeter Piece, Chemical White 5 kilograms, Electric Relay Switch 8 Piece, Syringe Match 5 Piece, 9 Watt Battery 03 piece, battery clip 10 pieces and medicine in bulk. The Maoists had hidden a large amount of explosive material to create havoc.
