Two suspected All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AANLA) militants were arrested during a joint operation by Security Forces (SFs) from Dhaman Tinthengia village of Tingkhong in Dibrugarh District of Assam on November 6, reports The Sentinel. The arrested militants were identified as Mileswar Kisan (38) alias Sunil and Shampad Cheruwa (30) alias Rahul. Both militants belonged to Salmari tea estate of Dibrugarh District. One 0.22 pistol and 4 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from their possession.
