On 10 March 2020, near Ahr Kar Taung Village, in Rathedaung Township, in Rakhine State, two Muslim youths stepped on a landmine on farmland between Ahr Kar Taung and Tha Mee Hla villages while they went to herd cattle. One of the youths died on the way to the hospital.
