On 20 March 2020, in Lay Hnyin Taung Village, in Mrauk-U Township, in Rakhine State, Myanmar military fired shots from jets targeting the mountain range in west of the village. The airstrike was reinforced by the artillery fire from Mrauk-U based ground military troops.
