On 30 March 2020, in Chaung Net village, Minbya township, Mrauk-U District, Rakhine State, the Myanmar military bombed the village with two jet fighters. A 51 year-old man died. 1 villager was injured and 5 houses were destroyed. Villagers fled to nearby villages.
