On 11 March 2020, a powerful bomb was detonated, allegedly by the cadres of Chand-led outfit, at the newly-constructed house of the former Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota in Lokanthali Manohara locality of Madhyapur Thimi municipality (Bhaktapur district). Properties were damaged in the incident. Further investigation of the incident is underway.
