On 4 April 2020, a vehicle likely belonging to artisanal miners struck a landmine on the outskirts of Miski (Tibesti Ouest, Tibesti). No casualties were reported but the detonation caused material damages. The device was likely planted by the Miski Self-Defense Committee.
