On January 23 2019, two grenades were thrown at police officers of the Sucre municipality and officials of the Special Forces (FAES) in Petare, Sucre municipality in Caracas. The explosion of the two grenades occurred after a day of protest against the government of Nicolas Maduro. It is reported that there are people in the neighborhoods of Petare with war weapons. No injuries are reported.
