An eight-year-old child was killed on Monday when an abandoned homemade bomb exploded in the locality of Mouzaia, in the province of Blida. The explosion injured seven other children aged between seven and 10, who were rushed to Frantz Fanon Hospital to get medical treatment. The bomb was likely abandoned by militant groups, given that the mountains and woods of the province of Blida used to be stronghold for militants in the 1990.
