Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A stray mortar shell flying from the war-torn Syria, Wednesday landed on the border city of Ramtha, some 90 kilometers from the capital, but no injuries were reported, an official source told Petra. The Ramtha District Governor, Khalid Olaimat said that the stray shell fell on a house in Al-Turrah town, causing only material damage . The Director of Ramtha police and the District Governor as well as other concerned officials visited the house and checked on its residents.
