On 26 July the house of Jima town mayor was attacked by a hand Grenade, but no one was injured. According to investigations carried out so far, it has been alleged that the attack was a drama organized by members of the security to malign the image of those small traders protesting against the hike of tax imposed by the government. It is not known if this claim was substantiated.
