On 16th July, an IED intended to target Kenya soldiers exploded after their vehicle had passed the device, on the road between Tarbaj and Kutulo (Tarbaj coded as the location, with coordinates of the site of the attack accurate to 3km taken from the source). There were no casualties, and the source attributes the attack to Al Shabaab.
