On October 6, a Burkinabe army vehicle was struck by an IED planted by presumed JNIM and/or ISGS militants in the area of Kabonga, axis Fada NGourma-Pama, one officer killed and another wounded, military aircrafts hovered the skies in the area amid joint operation between French and Burkinabe forces to counter the militants.
