On 26 December 2019, a military convoy of the Ministry of defense was targeted by an IED detonation, 8km south of In-Ates (coded as Tagdounatt at geoprecision), no casualties were reported but one vehicle was cut in two pieces and three more IEDs were discovered, presumably planted by ISGS militants.
