On 23 February, 2020, a car bomb exploded on the main road of Deir-ez-Zor - Basira near Abriha village in the eastern countryside of Deir-ez-Zor, when a military vehicle of QSD was passing in the area, which caused material damage. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
