On 24 April 2019, a VBIED parked by unidentified armed group near the Dawa Offices of HTS in the town of Jisr-Ash-Shugur detonated, killing 18 people including HTS fighters and at least one woman and two children while wounding 15 others and destroying a building. A woman died on 28 April 2019 from injuries sustained during the explosion. Total number of fatalities 19, including 2 women and 2 children of Turkistani nationality.
