On 24 April 2019, an IED planted in the car of a State Security official by the Saraya Qasioun group exploded while he was traveling through the Naher Aisha are of Al-Qadam neighborhood in Damascus, killing the officer, a nearby civilian and wounding at least 5 others. Total fatalities coded as 2.
