On 10 February 2020, in Taung Bway Village, in Ya Da Nar Pon Village Tract, in Kyauktaw Township, in Rakhine State, a Rohingya teenage boy was killed and two children were injured by an artillery shell fired from the Myanmar military navy ship on Kalandan river. A Muslim woman who came to see the injured children was also injured by another shell explosion.
