The soldiers were martyred during an exchange of fire with terrorists, which occurred by establishing blocking positions by the security forces, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.“An intelligence-based operation (IBO) commenced in general area of Kaman Pass, near Shahrig in Balochistan to clear a hideout of terrorists,” the press release said. According to the ISPR, a cache of arms and ammunition, including improvised explosive devices were recovered during the IBO. It added that a clearance operation continued to apprehend other terrorists in the area.
