On 26 October 2022, an Israeli drone conducted airstrikes targeting Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces and pro-Iran militias' military points on the Syrian-Iraqi borders near Al-Bukamal city in Deir ez Zor countryside, injuring a number of members. There were no fatalities.
