On 28 October 2022, in Taw Kyaung Pauk (Middle) village of Kyaukkyi township (Taungoo District, Bago-East Region), two heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops who stationed at Sittaung Bridge landed in the village at around 9 am and injured two local civilians.
