On 26 October 2022, in Ta Dar Hpyu village (Madaya township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Dragon Brothers People's Defense Force - Madaya, Demon Underground Revolutionary Force, Mandalay People's Defense Force - Mongoose Squadron, Taik Thein Underground Revolutionary Force and the Never Give Up - Fox Force (NGUFF) attacked a military checkpoint on a bridge with mines at around 7:30 pm. DVB reported 4 fatalities on the military side. Khit Thit and Irrawaddy reported only 2 fatalities. Fatilities coded as 2 using the lowest estimate.
