On 26 October 2022, in Man Hkun village (Bhamo township, Bhamo district, Kachin state), the military stationed near Bhamo town fired artilleries 18 times at surroundings at around 2 pm and one of the rounds fell and exploded in a plantation, killing a woman and injuring her child nearby.
