On 25 October 2022, in Hpa Lan Pin village (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military carried out airstrikes with two Mi-35 helicopter gunships on the base, where members of the PaAhPha (Pale) and the Pale PDF were stationed, at around 3 pm. The other two choppers dropped the Special Commando Force soldiers to raid the base where military informants, Pyu Saw Htee members and military soldiers were detained as war prisoners. The military soldiers then rescued war prisoners and took them to the Monywa-based North Western Command. The military claimed that 26 war prisoners including the wife of a military officer were freed. Casualties unknown.
