On 24 October 2022, near Inn Lel Gyi village (Kanbalu township, Kanbalu district, Sagaing region), the Kanbalu Underground Warriors carried out mine attacks against Myanmar military soldiers who were advancing towards the village. The group also attacked military soldiers with a bomb attached to a drone. Three military soldiers were killed.
