On 22 October 2022, in Wetlet township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), military forces from the Han Lin Myo Haung village fired heavy weapons continuously at the nearby villages from morning until around 3 pm, forcing over 10,000 people from 19 villages of Sar Taung Gyi, Sa Khan Thar, Pale Thwe, Moke Soe Chon, Bu Tar, Bo Te, Hmet Hti, Tha Yaing, Min Kone, Chaung Mee To, Ywar Thit Kone, Thea Kyun, Shwe Kyin, Kan Gyi Taw, Zauk Nyan Kone, Gway Kone, Ta Kan Thar, Kyoe Kyar and Kyauk Man Kan to flee. Casualties unknown.
