On 25 October 2022, one Taliban member was killed, and another was injured in a roadside mine blast targeting their vehicle in the PD4 area of Kandahar city. Later Afghanistan Freedom Front took responsibility for the attack and claimed that 3 Taliban members were killed and 2 others were injured in this explosion.
