On 23 October 2022, 3 civilians were wounded in a bomb blast planted in a mini-van on the Dar-ul Aman road (PD6) area of Kabul city. Earlier the day, Taliban officials said the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder, while the residents claimed it was an IED explosion. Later IS took responsibility for the attack and claimed that it was launched on a Taliban vehicle, which resulted in the killing and wounding of all aboard Taliban members.
